Reviews: It can be hard to trust the online community....

Who are you going to be learning from? Are they any good? Can I trust them when it's online? Is the training that I'm going to learn actually going to work?

Here you can find reviews from both of Sit Happens Dog Trainers Matt & Ricky. You can read testimonials to get a feel of how they work in person, if their training works and if results happen.

We know how hard it is going to be to trust another online trainer and community, hopefully reading through our plethora of reviews will help you to feel safe in knowing that our trainer's know what they're doing and that they can and will help you.

If after reading these you decide it's actually in person & 1-1 training you would like to have you can head to Sit Happens Dog Training website using the link below to get started.

Our Buddy Up Members Say

We were  not sure what to expect from Buddy Up, and did not know how it was going to work online but it does.

All the members want to encourage others  and the motivation and support via community chat  is great. We have found the badges ( so far) fun and a good way of focusing on certain aspects of training.

Really like the monthly challenge. It is good that you are posting the monthly classes  we missed todays, but having viewed online, will have a go.

There is a lot to navigate, anyone not very used to social media might find it takes time to get the hang of it all.

Our 1-1 Training Clients Say

Labrador

Hey Matt & Em - well now that I'm finally feeling human again, after sleeping like a baby all weekend, I want to say a massive thank you once again. I think my tears when leaving, really say it all. Despite us both being exhausted, I would've happily stayed another 3 days! Bless poor Ricky trying to say hello to a 42 year old woman, with greetin panda eyes & snotters tripping her 😂 I think it just hit me that this was it, I was letting go of you & we would have to go do this on our own.And haven't we just! We got up on Saturday & straight into the garden to start somewhere easy. Kicked off practising engagement, then into walking to heel & free time - just so he realised this is what we do now. Then ventured out later, but only up & down our road. My husband took him out for a run yesterday before it got too hot, but my condition was that he wasn't allowed on lead at all, as I didn't want him ruining our progress with any pulling. He had to drive to somewhere, then do some engagement work before setting off. It worked well & he payed much more attention while out. I've been using a firm 'enough' for any barking that is unwarranted, in addition to ending play with toys. This morning we went our first proper walk (to nowhere). Switching between heel & free, stopping to do nothing, engagement randomly dotted throughout & when a dog jumped at us barking through a fence - was brilliant! My boy done so well & I feel great. What both of you have built, in an enviable location, is nothing short of amazing. Matt - I could honestly listen to you talk dog all day - you have an obvious passion, your experience/knowledge is clear & you have a wonderful, easy going, approachable way about you, very natural. I have learned more than I thought possible in such a short time and it's all stored in my head in a Lancashire accent 🤣🤣 Em - you are one of life's angels ❤️ I felt so welcomed & Phoebe is so cool & just lovely. You have thought of everything for a comfortable stay & the little details really make a difference.Thank you - there's no going back for us!

We are So Excited about Buddy Up!... It is the Natural Step on our Sit Happens Journey.

Not every Story is the same - but most of us have had a difficult path with our beloved dogs. Sit Happens changd our life with Basil. Matt has outstanding Kowledge of dogs and tailored our training to give us exactly what Basil (and us) Needed.

The 1-1's made a difference from the get-go!
The Stay and train was bespoke to us...
The Walks and group sessions gave us confidence to stand out of the shadows.
And the  community of owners are supportive, inspirational and non judgement if things go pear shaped. The sense of community you get meeting people who have shared the same journey is in invaluable.

Please don't stay hidden, don't drag your dog through difficult situations - stride with confidence - Matt and his team have got you.
